FINESTRAT:
Finestrat is a town in the province of Alicante that belongs to the Costa Blanca. Finestrat means Window to the Sea and as a curiosity it is built on a plaster rock, which is why we can see streets dedicated to plasterers in the town.
Although there is an Iberian site, it has been destroyed, limiting knowledge of the settlement.2
The Barbary pirates attacked the coasts of the Mediterranean burning houses and taking their inhabitants as slaves. This is the origin of the watchtowers that run along the Alicante coast and the reason why Finestrat has a segment of coastline, known as La Cala, since they were given these lands for contributing to the defense of the coastline.
